Kendall earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of William & Mary, a Master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of California, San Diego, and she is an alumna of the University of California, Santa Cruz Science Communication program. She is also a contributor to The Science Writers’ Handbook: Everything You Need to Know to Pitch, Publish, and Prosper in the Digital Age (2013, Da Capo). Kendall lives near Denver, Colorado with her scientist husband and their two children.
